Government Affairs Committee

The purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to monitor the activities of the legislature on developments and issues on legislation, taxation, education and investments affecting the MAFMIC member companies. The committee will consist of nineteen members; fourteen from MAFMIC member companies, of these fourteen members; two individuals will be junior members of the committee, and the five members of the MAFMIC Executive Committee. A NAMIC representative may be an ex-officio member of this committee. Committee members will serve a seven-year term, after an absence of one year, an individual may again be eligible to serve on this committee.
