The Robert C. Seipp Service Award was established in 1986 to honor past President Robert C. Seipp in his retirement from the Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies (MAFMIC). It is a prestigious award presented annually by MAFMIC to recognize professionalism and service to the mutual insurance industry in Minnesota.
The Robert C. Seipp Service Award will be presented at the 2024 MAFMIC Convention Annual Banquet. The MAFMIC Convention will be held at the Radisson Blu – MOA, Bloomington on February 4-6, 2024. The recipient will receive a plaque and his or her name will be added to a perpetual plaque located in the MAFMIC office.
In order to be selected, the nominee must:
- Have provided service and generously given of his or her time and expertise to promote a professional image for the ultimate benefit of MAFMIC and the mutual insurance industry in Minnesota.
- Be a current or past employee, director, officer or agent of MAFMIC or a MAFMIC member company.
- Have provided ten or more years of service to MAFMIC and/or a MAFMIC member company.
The Immediate Past Chairman of MAFMIC will serve as chair of The Seipp Service Award Selection Committee along with the MAFMIC Executive Committee. The Selection Committee will screen nominations selecting two finalists and present those names to the MAFMIC Board of Directors. The Board will choose the Award recipient at the December Board Meeting.
To be considered, the nomination form and any letters of recommendation must be received in the MAFMIC office by the last Friday in October.
